Radiozero Podcast #44 with EXPENDABLE YOUTH

So we had our friends Mike and Matt, who are EXPENDABLE YOUTH (aka Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso / Miguel Migs & Danny Tenaglia) come on and do the radio show last week.

We are moving our 1/2ALIVE night permanently to Richards on Richards. Finally. It's been forever since we had a reliable venue, and now we get to have the best live music venue in the city. Lots of great acts coming up over the next couple months there with Krames, Tonite Only, Zombie Nation and a bunch of secret acts we can't announce yet.

For our first night at Richards (Friday, July 6th) we got Numéro to kick it off. They rule. Their song "hit pop" was featured as the secret track on Kitsuné Maison 4 compilation. They did a track with Red Foxx on their album and I think they're gona blow up. They're kinda like Lo-Fi-FNK, but with french lyrics.

Sorry we've been missing in action for a minute. Making nice mixtapes every week takes a bit of time and we just kinda got way too busy with our "DJ jobs"

Tyler's 1/2ALIVE night has been moved three times in the past three months. Just when we had 600+ kids (the best kids ever!) coming out friday nights to the most hazardous skid bar in the city we got screwed. We moved to a really safe nice venue in the business district, and we were just too busy for them. Not to mention all the sketchy shit Jason did. They kicked us out. No more venues for us.
