Radiozero Podcast #44 with EXPENDABLE YOUTH

So we had our friends Mike and Matt, who are EXPENDABLE YOUTH (aka Steve Angello & Sebastian Ingrosso / Miguel Migs & Danny Tenaglia) come on and do the radio show last week.

They curate our local version of myspace + pitchforkmedia, called chalkedup.com (which is really cool, seriously you should check out the articles and listings there). They also host a thursday night party at the century house called E-LEK-TRON-IK with our good friend Cam Dales.

Mike has made all my favorite local edits (kid sister + exceeder, three six + MSTRKRFT, etc) and now Mike and Matt have put together this amazing mix for us here at the radiozero head office. Definitely one of the best radiozeros ever.

We are moving our 1/2ALIVE night permanently to Richards on Richards. Finally. It's been forever since we had a reliable venue, and now we get to have the best live music venue in the city. Lots of great acts coming up over the next couple months there with Krames, Tonite Only, Zombie Nation and a bunch of secret acts we can't announce yet.

For our first night at Richards (Friday, July 6th) we got Numéro to kick it off. They rule. Their song "hit pop" was featured as the secret track on Kitsuné Maison 4 compilation. They did a track with Red Foxx on their album and I think they're gona blow up. They're kinda like Lo-Fi-FNK, but with french lyrics.
